Talkies come to print
Like true Bohemians, we love to be mobile. So why not make an advertisement using that touch point in your pocket?
Back in 2005, our fathers Artmiks launched an ‘art project’ called SoundAds where we added sound to print campaigns like billboards and magazines. How? We simply added a number to call to hear what the ad was about. They were enticing, teasing, pleasing, shocking or disruptive.
We launched ads like 0900-religie (religion) where you could choose between A) making a confession, B) listen to a Christian poem or C) get closer to God with 5 minutes of silence.
Twenty-two huge billboards formed the closing exhibition in former Post CS.
Two months later, Procter & Gamble UK pasted an assignment to make a SoundAd for Olay in combination with Tesco’s.
