Travel cheap to Asia.

After everybody spend their budget on the January campaigns Wereldtickets comes back with a roaring Spring campaign. The focus is not John, Jane and John Jr. Doe but mister and misses Daredevil, the worldy orientated travelers who like to go and see the world for less. Wereldtickets offeres them cheap tickets and cheap tips.

Challenge
Wereldtickets.nl is relatively new in the travel industry. Unknown and therefore not considered as a possible provider. The travel industry market is dominated by four major companies who have huge budgets for TV advertising and full-year billboards campaigns.

Goal
Increase website traffic.
Make Wereldtickets.nl the alternative for cheap tickets to Asia.

Target group
Everyone between 20 and 35 who’s searching online for flight tickets to Asia.

Strategy
Wereldtickets who offers cheap tickets wants to serve the client with finding the cheapest flight and offer this in a transparent way. There are no hidden costs of some kind. To extend their service Wereldtickets helps the clients with tips and tricks how to save even more money.

Concept
The previous concept “Protest” is extended to support the idea that Wereldtickets is still the cheapest and to add some visual recognition. In the elaboration of this concept, the images of people holding placards come into focus over the traditional adverts of people swimming in the sea; sun, sea and happiness. These placards contain texts such as “Buy your tickets on Wereldtickets.nl”.

A quick hint on some of the Dutch treats…

  1. Book early.
  2. Eat at the local market.
  3. Swim in the sea.
  4. Share a room.
  5. Travel in teams.
