We congratule Holzer Kobler…

We would like to congratulate the winners of the The Humboldt Forum Design Competition: Holzer Kobler Architekturen with their first prize.

Bohemia Amsterdam joined this competition  in a Dutch consortium formed by Bohemia Amsterdam, Kwint Architecten and Van Keulen Bieb systemen. We’re happy to announce that we’ve received the third prize with an honorable mention for this prestigious design competition. The competition (by invitation) was to blend and design various functions in the newly built Berlin City Palace. The jury praised our submission for its view on public space and our conceptual approach of the assignment.

Het Nederlandse consortium gevormd door Bohemia Amsterdam, Kwint Architecten en Van Keulen Bieb systemen, ontvangt de derde prijs met een eervolle vermelding voor de prestigieuze Humboldt Forum Design competitie. De prijsvraag op uitnodiging behelsde het vorm geven aan een samensmelting van diverse functies in het nieuw te bouwen Berliner Stadtschloss aan de Unter Der Linden. De jury roemde de inzending om zijn visie op de publieke functie en de conceptuele benadering van de opdracht.

All nine entries are exhibited from 10 to 24 september 2012 at the Humboldt Box, Schlossplatz 5, Berlijn (D).

Officially we’re not allowed to publish any images of our contribution but the rebels of our Ministry of Publication already put everything on Pressdoc (in Dutch).
